UWS English Language Requirements
To cater for the needs of students whose first language is not English, we offer a range of Pre-Sessional English Language courses to enable students to meet the English language entry requirements for their chosen programme at UWS.
STUDY ABROAD OPPORTUNITIES
UWS warmly welcomes undergraduate students from our Study Abroad partners visiting for a semester or academic year. We offer a wide range of attractive classes which can transfer back to fulfil the degree requirements at your home institution.

The teaching at UWS is amazing and both tutors and lecturers are very helpful. Our international community
UWS is a vibrant modern university with five campuses in the United Kingdom. We have four campuses in the south-west of Scotland - Paisley, Lanarkshire, Ayr and Dumfries. We also have our London Campus located in Canary Wharf. Each campus has it's own character and tight community while all identifiably UWS.
Paisley Campus
Located in the centre of Paisley – Scotland's largest town – the campus is just 10 minutes by train from Glasgow, one of Europe's most exciting and dynamic cities.
London Campus
Our London Campus offers modern and dynamic, flexible work and learning spaces with panoramic views of London Docklands.
Lanarkshire Campus
Located at Hamilton International Technology Park, our award-winning Lanarkshire campus provides state-of-the-art learning and teaching facilities.
Ayr Campus
Located just a 10-minute walk from Ayr town centre on the Craigie Estate next to the River Ayr, UWS's Ayr Campus creates a truly innovative learning environment for students.

United Nations Academic Impact
We're excited to announce that UWS is now a member of the United Nations Academic Impact initiative. This membership connects us to a global network of 1600 institutions spanning over 150 countries.
UNAI actively involves participating institutions in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through dedicated efforts in education and research.
UWS Open Days 2024
Our open days and information sessions are a great way to see what it’s like to study at UWS, and explore the options available if you’re considering student accommodation.
We have open days for undergraduates in June and in the Autumn across our four Scottish campuses.
There's also an open evening for postgraduates and programme specific information sessions to attend.
