External Examiner Induction Resource 1 covers general information on the University. It gives you a sense of the UWS culture, our student and staff profile, and the structure of our academic schools.

Resource 2 covers the Quality Enhancement Framework in Scotland. It outlines the UWS approach to external examining, including information on the roles and responsibilities of each specific appointment.

Resource 3 outlines the operation of the examination boards. You can see what kind of information you'll be expected to review and the activities you should expect to undertake.
