Dr Anne Marie Craig

Dr Anne Marie Craig is Head of Division (Adult Nursing, Community and Health) in the School of Health and Life Sciences at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS). Anne Marie is a registered nurse who has focused her career on education and continuous professional development, from mentoring student nurses and supporting staff development as Renal Nurse Educator to supporting practice education in the role of Lead Practice Education Facilitator and Lead Nurse for Education in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

In 2009 Anne Marie moved to Higher Education to develop as an academic in pre-and post-registration nursing and interprofessional healthcare education, and subsequently joined UWS in April 2020. Anne Marie has a particular interest in supporting students with disabilities in academic and practice settings and completed a PhD in 2018 with a thesis entitled 'An exploration of the concept of reasonable adjustments in pre-registration nursing in Scotland'.
