Kate Allum has an extensive track record of senior executive and non-executive leadership roles in the commercial sector, accumulating 26 years of Boardroom experience in a wide variety of companies, cultures and countries.

Kate is currently a non-executive director of The Co-op, Eurocell plc and Chair of Anpario plc. She was previously a non-executive director of Cranswick, Stock Spirit, Origin Enterprises and SIG. Prior to her portfolio career, she was Chief Executive of Cedo Ltd and First Milk Ltd and her business experience includes various roles at Mars Incorporated, OSI Ltd and Lloyds Bank plc.

Prior to her appointment as a CEO, she was Head of Supply Chain Europe at McDonald’s Ltd where she was known to be passionate and vocal about environmental, social and economic sustainability and the challenges that these issues raise. Education is a critical part of understanding and tackling the solutions, driving her interest in the provision of educational opportunities to deliver a sustainable future.
