KENNY MURDOCH

Kenny has over 30 years of global experience mainly in the energy sector with companies such as Maersk, Rolls-Royce and Schlumberger and has lived and worked in 9 countries in the European, Russian, Middle Eastern, North American and Far Eastern regions. He has operated as a CFO of stock market listed and private equity owned firms. His leadership roles have focused on strategy, international business growth, funding, technology development and innovation. An experienced Board Director, he has served as a board director for businesses around the world including joint venture boards. A former Non-Executive Director of Maersk Supply Services, a leading vessel provider to the energy sector.
Kenny is a GlobalScot. Under this Scottish Government backed initiative, he acts as a Business Advisor, providing support to Scottish businesses seeking to expand internationally and with a drive to develop technology supporting the energy transition. As part of his GlobalScot role, he was invited to be is an associate member of Scotland’s International Space Advisory Committee. As part of this committee, he is exploring to combine the innovation, technology and excellence with the energy and space sectors to support the Scottish Governments space strategy. He is also a mentor via Torch, a leading global learning and development platform, where he coaches executives at some of the world's leading and most innovative companies.
Currently living in France, he was born and raised in Glasgow and is an alumni of The University of West of Scotland.
