University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is a large, modern, multi-campus University with its origins dating back to 1897. We have four campuses across the west and southwest of Scotland and one in London.

Our campuses
Our Scottish campuses are located within historic towns that allow easy commuting to Scotland's largest city, Glasgow or Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh. Our London Campus, which offers modern and dynamic, flexible work spaces, is located in the historic London Docklands, a short walk from East India DLR station.

UWS is organised into four academic Schools for learning, teaching and research.
Professional Support Services
Our Professional Services teams are the backbone of UWS. They provide robust and innovative solutions to support the vast range of work across learning and teaching, and research and innovation.
If you take up a post in one of our Professional Services departments, you'll join a supportive and dedicated team.

- Scotland’s first official training partner for China following accreditation from China’s State Administration for Foreign Expert Affairs (SAFEA)
