About the role
Student ambassadors work with the University’s student recruitment and marketing teams to promote UWS to prospective students and stakeholders.
The student ambassador role includes:
- Supporting our big on-campus events like open days and offer holder sessions
- Leading tours of our four Scottish campuses
- Chatting to prospective UWS students
- Becoming one of the faces of UWS
- Participating in student-led Q&A sessions
- Being involved in social media content creation
Who can become a student ambassador?
A student ambassador application can be submitted by any fully enrolled current undergraduate or postgraduate student at UWS. Applications from a variety of backgrounds are encouraged and welcomed.

The details
Your hours with us are flexible. You can arrange your schedule around your academic commitments, with no pre-determined hours per week. A minimum of 10 hours of work per year is guaranteed.
Although this position does not guarantee a high income, it can supplement other sources of income. It can also provide you with a variety of experiences.
