Who we are

The Student Success team are here for all students, to provide proactive support and make sure you are successful in your studies at UWS. We are here to empower you to stay on track with your studies and get the most out of your time at university. Our role is to support students to engage with their studies and link you in with the services available at UWS.

We work with Schools and other services at UWS to develop and deliver initiatives and activities which will enhance the student experience and student success.

UWS Buddies

The Student Success team also manage a team of UWS student buddies; experienced UWS students like you.  University can take some getting used to, no one knows this better than students who have been through it all themselves. Why the Student Success team might contact you

The Student Success team might email or call you from time to time to ensure you are engaging with your programme of study.  We want to make sure you have all of the resources and support in place to be successful in your programme.  We are not here to monitor or report but to help students feel more involved in their programme and the wider UWS community.
