Our Business and Law Showcase gives you the perfect opportunity to get in-person experience of your subject and course of choice before the UCAS application deadline on 29 January 2025. You will get to experience what studying at UWS is really like, take part in some hands-on activities, chat to our academics and current students, and ask any questions you have.

Rapid Prototyping with Lego (Dr Will Shepherd) - A highly interactive session that challenges visitors to invent new ways of allowing office workers to drink Irn Bru. Using 25 Lego bricks or less, the teams will design, develop and prototype their solution - all to win the coveted Innovator of the Evening Trophy.

What’s law got to do with it? (Dr Susannah Paul) - We will journey into the important legal questions of the future as we consider the moral and legal dilemmas around self-driving cars and deepfake technology. This showcase will feature futuristic cars, grannies, babies and pop stars, leading us to consider the important role that law and policy play in protecting people and safeguarding principles such as democracy. Law gets everywhere and, at UWS we think it has something to interest everyone!
