I spoke to my personal tutor, who set up an appointment with the (UWS) psychology team and I got tested for dyslexia and ADHD – which came back as positive. It gave me the biggest confidence boost ever. And an ego boost as well, in a sense, because I’d not been strong academically through school and college. The University gave me the tools to learn differently; the tools that I needed to be able to flourish. And it’s led me to be able to chase my dreams.”
