MSc Quality Management graduate, Jodi Roberts, is hoping to take her career to the next level thanks to her time at UWS.
Jodi, 39, from Jamaica, studied the programme on an online, part-time basis. She works as a QHSE Compliance Manager at J. Wray and Nephew Limited, an alcoholic beverage manufacturer, and graduated from UWS in November.
The content of the Quality Management course, as well as its accreditation from the Chartered Quality Institute, set it apart from other programmes for Jodi.
Jodi said: “Over the years my career has developed in the field of Quality Management and as it was my intention to continue my career development in that direction, I was keen to undertake the MSc in Quality Management at UWS.
“The course didn’t disappoint. The knowledge I’ve gained will greatly assist me in excelling at and progressing in my current career.
“Studying at UWS has broadened and formalised some of the knowledge I gained previously through work experience. It has added to my management skills such as strategic management, change management and operations management which will help me to grow, excel and succeed as a manager.”
As Jodi undertook the Masters programme via distance learning, flexibility was essential for her success.
She added: “The best part about studying the programme online was the flexibility. I was able to work full-time in another country and complete this degree part-time in approximately two years.”
