UWS RESEARCH AND INDUSTRIAL COLLABORATION
Many of our programmes offer industry-based projects and paid work placements in the UK and abroad. We also offer placements within the University’s own research groups to give you first-hand experience of academic research. Our research is clustered in inter-national collaborations and industry partnerships.
Our Industrial Advisory Board provides input from industry professionals to help shape our teaching and to ensure we provide you with the cutting-edge experience that sets you apart from the competition.
Many of our programmes are accredited by professional bodies, including the Institute of Physics, the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Chartered Institute of Forensic Sciences.
UWS Facilities for Physical Sciences
Well-equipped labs provide opportunities for placements and research projects. Investment in facilities includes the University’s Institute of Thin Films, Sensors and Imaging, which houses forward-thinking academic and industry research.
