Throughout the programme, you will explore six key themes essential to planning and the built environment:
These themes provide a comprehensive understanding of sustainable development, urban design, strategic impact assessment, and stakeholder collaboration. Together, these modules equip you with the knowledge and skills to address real-world challenges, create inclusive communities, and contribute to developing resilient, well-designed urban and rural spaces.
The programme is delivered through blended learning with the majority of the learning delivered through Work-based learning.
Students are expected to be on campus for one day every week during term time for facilitated workshops and practical sessions to reinforce their online e-learning and workplace experiential learning.
Assessment is through a number of methods including:
£1,820 cost per year of study (usually paid by the Scottish Government via SAAS*)

Due to the way in which this course is funded in Scotland, only students who satisfy the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) residence eligibility criteria can apply.
