How to get to the UWS Lanarkshire Campus
The University of the West of Scotland's Lanarkshire Campus is located at Hamilton International Technology Park, with more than 80 local businesses. It is well served by public transport links. UWS supports and encourages students to make sustainable travel choices for their journey to Lanarkshire Campus wherever possible.
Walking and cycling
If you live within 2 miles of Lanarkshire Campus, or are alighting the train at Blantyre, we would encourage staff and students to get fit by walking. If you live a bit further away, you could cycle to campus.
Active commuters will be supported with 100 cycle parking spaces, with enhanced cycle provision and repair kits and tools in a secure compound. Shower facilities on every floor of each building will allow all active commuters to freshen up before their day begins. We are also working with South Lanarkshire Council to improve walking & cycling routes and are investigating a bike hire scheme to facilitate more cycling to and from Campus.
Sustrans are an organisation that maintain national cycle routes in the UK. Enter the Lanarkshire Campus postcode (G72 0LH) into the Sustrans map to see routes that take you close to the campus. Cycle parking, shower facilities and lockers are available throughout the campus.

Alternatively, you can plan your walking, cycling or public transport route with Google Maps or Traveline Scotland.
